About the program

The arbor maintenance plan is a 6-point protection program designed to keep your trees and shrubs beautiful and healthy from spring to fall, as well as added protection during the winter months.

Dormant Oil

The topical spray application of superior horticultural oil helps control overwintering eggs and immature and adult insects.

Early Growth

Insect control sprays target leaf feeding insects such as tent caterpillars, leaf miners and sawfly larvae. Disease control is aimed at minimizing leaf spotting diseases such as scab and rust.

Mid-Season

Insect control sprays target leaf beetle larvae, aphids, Japanese beetles plus other sucking and chewing insects. Disease control is intended to extend protection against scab and powdery mildew

Mature Foliage

Spider mites and foliage feeding insects such as web worms and aphids are the targets for this foliage spray application.

Late Season

As the season ends, spider mites and weevils continue to be a problem. Spruce gall also needs to be targeted.
